AEC was tasked with delivering a flexible stanchion and display solution for Sotheby’s auction venues in Paris and London. Recognising the dynamic nature of Sotheby’s auctions, we engineered a modular solution capable of accommodating diverse layouts and display needs. We supplied a series of display stands designed for adaptability, featuring both standard and magnetic stanchions to allow for a variety of different combinations.

Our solution
Our collaboration with Sotheby’s focused on developing a flexible display and stanchion system that that made all of the components interchangeable between standard stanchions, display stands, bungee tops and rope tops.
To ensure the system was suitable for the varying nature of the auctioned works, we designed it to complement both traditional and contemporary settings. Addressing the challenge of combining sleek aesthetics with adaptability, we created a magnetic system that allows for quick information changes that perfectly fulfilled the client’s requirements.
